poem REFLECTIONS
Reflections of You, how your radiance draws me near
I’m held and captivated, by the God in whom I fear.
Your glow is bright before me, enthralling rays of light
So compelled to touch You, Your Hem, Your Face, Your Might.
Your strength is like no other, Your eyes a heavenly hue
Your voice is just like thunder, yet a tender whisper too.
Your passion for the wayward, Your concern for broken hearts
Your care for helpless children whose lives are torn apart.
Your love for all creation, You’re a Father who’s deeply moved
By the honor of the humble whom You’ve joyfully approved.
Your laughter is delightful, Your smile it stretches far
It defines and lifts the spirit, soaring high up like a star.
Your countenance serene, gazing on Your faithful ones
Whose lives are filled with noble deeds never to be undone
Your hand wields forth great power, transforming all you touch
Restoring and renewing comforting and such.
I think about your splendor, Your majesty and more
I revel in the Glory of the God whom I adore.
