Come to me, bring your burden, is the Lord's command; trust in my promise of life at the Cross on Calvary; believe in my words and have faith in your heart, for I am the right path to everlasting forgiveness.
Let my light be your guide as you journey through life; let me share all your hurts as we travel together on the path of glory; let my words of wisdom inspire you to great heights of service, for my peace rests with you when we part at the dawn of life.
Thus, the words of salvation were uttered just for you and me, for long ago from the tree on the hill of gracious life words of promise were uttered that healed the broken, the wounded, the lonely; and filled the empty life that strayed in sin out of the path of wastfulness.
Hearken and believe in the tender call of your God; listen to the voice of peace for the shedding of your transgressions; you are cleansed, you are white like the snow underfoot; you are God's own child forever even as you stand alone.
As the dove of peace descend upon you and bring salvation to your wounded soul, feel the lightness all around you as your burdens disappear; you are forgiven, you have been cleansed, your heart has been given the strength to have faith; you are God's child yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever.
