No man has seen God in His Majesty.
As one engraved plot of repulsed humanity
Could not be exposed to the Light of His Presence.
Had He appeared in His own Regal essence.
The visible form of 'His' Being was of travesty
For God's entity was swaddled in infancy
As "The Word" ordained in human form.
This Divine quest was to be encrypted
With types and symbols that followed
His Majesty equated to a common shrub
That fashioned no earthly attraction.
The Lord God Almighty shrouded His Glory
That Moses could take heed - and derive
From the 'Burning Bush' and remain alive.
So that Christ could enter in
'His' awesome entity veiled.
Upon the sight of finite men
Of whom may dimly comprehend.
The creator of heaven and earth
At birth portrayed in form of Adam's seed
Yet His deeds endured in human frailty.
Now God could approach sinful mankind
And gift with sight - those spiritually blind.
For those that seek - In 'Him' will find.
