Three men in a furnace. "Oh me, God, oh my!
How could You allow this? Oh why, God, oh why?"
The king made a statue, to it men must bow,
But these three brave men said, "We won't! Nope! No how!"
"Our God can protect us, but should He not choose...
Still we won't bow down, sir, whatever we lose!
It's God we will worship, we serve only Him,
Your threats do not scare us, no matter how grim!"
The king grew so angry, the three men were bound
And cast in the furnace, the hottest around.
But then in a moment he jumped up amazed,
"There's FOUR men, just count them, untouched by the blaze!"
"Four men in the furnace? There had been just three!
Their God must be with them; come quickly and see!"
So Nebuchadnezzar, the king, called them out,
Not one hair was singed when from flames they stepped out!
Unharmed and unblemished, undamaged, unhurt,
From the top of the head to the edge of the skirt!
The end of the story...God then became known,
These three lives were spared and God's glory was shown.
