Just persevere in prayer,
You've waited, oh, so long,
Don't give up in your weariness,
God's been there all along.
He knows your worry and your doubt,
The burden that you bear,
The loved ones that you care about,
Just breathe their names in prayer.
Though He seems silent still hold on,
Persistent prayer He hears,
One day you'll reap the seeds you've sown
And He'll dry all your tears.
For this truth you can cling to,
His mercy never ends,
And He is working in the dark,
His best He still intends.
"First, I tell you to pray for all people, asking God for what they need and being thankful to him." I Timothy 2:1 (New Century Version)
"Confess to one another therefore your faults--your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins; and pray (also) for one another, that you may be healed and restored--to a spiritual tone of mind and heart. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available--dynamic in its working." James 5:16 (Amplified)
