The imprint of God is inscribed on all creation.
He scattered the worlds into the void
And girded the earth's eternal foundation.
Who gratifies the heights with a new song?
'His' message relays the Father's unfailing love
Upon all beings that walk, creep or fly.
Sin entered in defiling God's creation
Yet His Majesty endures as steadfast
With His own honoring His crown with elation.
No being is an entity unto itself
Excluding the image of man
That demands its own vacant desires.
As living creatures that trod the earth
A lofty leaf or fading blade of grass
All ministers to its kindred's rebirth
The sea widens its gaping mouth athirst
With gratitude presents mornings risen dew
Providence adorns the earth anew.
May the fragile petals of a flower
That share their heavenly scent
Unfold life's mystery to mankind?
Christ conceived with the form of a man
With enduring love without dismay
Rendered all to nail closure - in a cosmic display.
