There is a place
Where you were led
That's strange and cold and sad
A place you've never been before
An empty desolate land.
No one to say go left or right
Familiarity is gone
The one that you have trusted
Seems to have left you all alone.
Do not despair or worry
The Promise always stand
"I'll never leave you, nor forsake you"
He's got you in His hands.
This place that you have entered
As strange as it may be
Is the way the Lord is taking you
To reach your VICTORY!
My prayer as I share this poem, it that it ministers to the heart of the reader, who may be experiencing a life changing event, whether it be a divorce, death of a loved one, sickness, or something that has taken them to a place that seems like all is lost. God is bigger than any problem that you and I may face, and He is the God of the mountain as well as the God of the valley. His ways are higher than our, so at times we may not understand the route, but we can trust the One who walks with us. The promise always stands. God bless you.
