Never assume anything! (A lesson I have to learn over and over).
Yesterday, I did not look at the winners list(busy and thought I'd wait for the top 40 (30) ; was sure that poem wouldn't be there either).
I'm shocked at 4th place! After all these FW years, a placement still amazes me.
To answer about the racing metaphor... I live a few miles from the Bristol Speedway where every March and August there are at least a bazillion NASCAR fans here. At Christmas, regular folks with regular vehicles can drive a lap (slowly) and see the charming lights display (that has nothing to do with racing, just a side note of interest).
Congratulations to all. The competition on here is getting fierce. I've never seen so many excellent writers in one place! Y'all are really somethin' (as Andy Taylor says).

Special Congratulations to June Dickie!
I just realized (unless I'm wrong) that June is the only Advanced Level among all Masters in the top 10!
WOW!

You're quite right. June was the only non-Level 4 winner in the top 10. Good on her!FreedomWriter wrote:Special Congratulations to June Dickie!
