In my usual number-nerd way, I've complied the statistics for the "Interjections" quarter that we've just finished. Those of you who are interested in such things...well, you might be interested in this.

I've given EC winners 10 points for a 1st place, 9 points for a 2nd place, and so on down to 1 point for a 10th place. I entered those in a spreadsheet--if you spot any mistakes, please feel free to let me know, either on this thread or in a PM.

So here they are--total points for the quarter, followed by names.

45--Lisa Mikitarian
44--Debbie Roome
35--Beth LaBuff
25--Carol Slider
23--Michele Roach
22--Sheri Gordon
21--Jackie Wilson

Good one, Pup!

I plead exhaustion--I'm doing this in a hotel room, after a day on the road, crossing four states in the rain.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

WOW Lisa and Debbie ...you girls were really kicking butt this quarter.

Not to mention Beth with her wonderful talent in poetry.

I am always honored to even see my name on this list at all...even near the bottom. :) I am a happy camper.

Mari--that to me is lovely--to be content.

I'm thankful for a good quarter. They don't always happen. This is a great place to grow both in the written word and in character as competition can be a thorn in ones side.

Thanks, Deb, (and Scott) for all your patience and the work you put into keeping this site thriving. It's a blessing--no doubt.

Grateful to be a part of this community.

It's a great feeling, isn't it, Sarah? Only the second time for me.

And hey, you beat me this quarter! (Not that that is any great marker, beating me) You are so incredibly talented and are improving every day.

I am happy to be on the list as well. It has been a learning quarter for me in so many ways.

Lisa and Beth LaBuff, everywhere I go, there you are encouraging me and you don't even know me. You are great people. Thank you.
BTW, your writing is superb, too!

Actually, we are not-so-great-people, FreedomWriter. Beth can't parallel park. I've been known to pluck chin hair. We can't spell, our windows need washing, and periodically we throw Dee Yoder under the bus. And as far as being everywhere? Just wait till we show up in your dreams and start making suggestion on household finances.

YET, we've enjoyed encouraging you on your writing journey. :D

Keep going!

...that's why I live in a small town where parallel parking is not necessary ... :) and about my home, I seem to constantly have that country accent "dust".
