Week 7 Challenge Topic - Open Up A Can of Worms

Welcome back, Challengeers. Here we go with the final three topics for this quarter, starting with this fun one. The Week 7 topic is:

OPEN UP A CAN OF WORMS

Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve been the one to open that wormy can? Sometimes we worry that a course of action may open a can of worms, for example:

Joe wanted to find his birth parents, but he was worried that may open a can of worms in his otherwise very peaceful life.

Other times, we may not have thought about the consequences before ripping that can open. For example:

Boy, I sure opened up a can of worms when I told Jody about seeing her husband on the slopes in Aspen on the weekend. How was I to know he was supposed to be working at the office the whole time?

Have fun with the topic (because it’s a fun one). You can write in any genre or style you like, AS LONG AS SOME MEANING OF THE TOPIC IS THE MAIN FOCUS OF YOUR ENTRY ... and as long as the entry conforms to the rules.

And keep in mind the adjusted Challenge rule: Entries may be in any style or genre, and they do not need to be overtly Christian in message. However, they must, at minimum, come from a Christian worldview/outlook. In the case of fiction, the Christian worldview/outlook may be subtle or allegorical, but it should still offer a fairly clear Christian viewpoint.
