I write non-fiction. I think I've probably learned more from my past non-fiction reading than I realize. There was a time I read a lot of it.

I realize my opinion doesn't hold any weight here because I don't write fiction. But one reason I don't like to read fiction is because of all the descriptions. I don't have patience for it. Just get on with it and tell me what happens next.

My guess is that others, like me, don't have experience with the site so we don't have any insights to share with you. I wish someone did. It's nice when we can help each other.

I'm currently working with an editor. One thing I appreciate is that she asked for a sample first so she could get an idea about the work involved and then she sent me a quote based on that.
