Jan, I found the excerpt strange and frustrating at first, but I came around to find it unrestrictive and evocative. Perhaps, in preaching the merit of a thing we overlook its weaknesses, or at the very least, the effectiveness of something else. Still, I'll echo the others in saying the lack of pun...
