Well that was a nice little birthday surprise, especially since I wasn't able to enter for "The Writer's Life" and was a bit "bummed" about that.

Wow. Wasn't expecting that. I'm glad the editors enjoyed my piece, where I let my "Muse" have free reign. This one was really fun to write. I think this is my first humor entry that made top 10, other than my children's story entry.

Wow! Thanks to the judges! I was not expecting to place anywhere this week... So 15th is a huge surprise! I really wasn't sure how my "prosetry" (cross between prose and poetry, which it what I decided this was...) would come across.
