Re: 2011 Page Turner Entry Tally

We (Jan A, Kim R, & myself) had a mini-writer's retreat weekend here and we've been keeping tabs on the PT count. It's exciting, if a bit intimidating (but in the good way, the way that makes me want to make sure my entry is at its best). I'll be one of those last second girls :). It's hard to k...

Re: 2011 Page Turner Entry Tally

Not that I plan on pushing it so close to the deadline, but midnight of which time zone? (I think the Challenge is EST.) Just double-checking :)

Re: formtatting Q

Great :) Thanks Deb!

I didn't figure it was very strict but it makes a difference as to how many pages a first chapter is if it's single or double-spaced. (Helps me know if my chapter is short or long, LOL.)

Thanks.

formtatting Q

Is there a recommended formatting for the entries?

I'm presuming 1" margins, double-spaced, no space between paragraphs, indenting first line of new paragraphs, times new roman 12pt font-- that kind of thing.

Let me know if I'm way off there, otherwise I'll stick with that. :)

Thanks!!

Re: Winners for OUTLOOK

:superhappy :clap :clap :bow

Congratulations everyone!!

And Ann, I guess I was wrong on it being too much for a short story :) but I still think it'd make a great novel  .

I know I read a lot of good stories and poems this week. Well done all.

wow, Joni, that rocks! well done you. beyond well done.

I'm giddy here- but really feel like this one wasn't even mine-- like I was just posting what came to my heart and I was an innocent pen-stander.

:)

A big congrats to everyone-- can't wait to see who all pops up on the long list. :)

Quick Q for anyone in the PT know :) I'm chomping at the bit to put my novel into the contest but I do have a little clarification question. In the rules/tidbits/explanations part on the contest page it says something like: "...outside assistance for editing is permitted and encouraged..."...
